Lily is growing like a weed!

Today Lily had her one month doctor appointment. As expected, she is doing wonderfully and weighing in at a whopping 9 lbs 4 oz.!!! That is a gain of over 1 lb! Everything else looks great and Lily does not have to return to the doctor for another month. Needless to say, we don't think she is too disappointed about that.

Easter is quickly approaching and that means it is almost time for Lily's first official road trip to Michigan to visit her grandparents and aunt! Lily is very excited for her first visit to her grandparents' house. Everything is all set for her arrival, including her crib which is outfitted in the "French Rose" collection from PBKids. She can't wait to see it. Lily also can't wait to spend the week in Michigan with her grandparents and to be introduced to all of her mom's friends! She is so excited to meet everyone!

Lily will also be surprised with a bunny Easter basket embroidered with her name (also from PBKids). Her basket will be filled with all sorts of goodies from her parents and grandparents: a bunny rattle, several books (including the story of the Easter Bunny) and a very special stuffed kitty from her grandparents. Unfortunately, Lily will have to wait until next year to get a chocolate bunny.

Lily will be wearing vintage this Easter. Her grandparents have saved several of her mom's fancy baby dresses for her and Lily will be outfitted in one this Easter. There are several to choose from, so Lily will have to try them all on and make a selection.
