March Madness

It's that time of year again - March Madness! Only Madness this year means more than basketball around our house. We are disappointed that the Fighting Illini are not in the NCAA tournament, but we will be cheering faithfully for MSU - Go Spartans!

In other Madness - our baby boy is due to arrive soon! We are very anxious for him to join our family - Lily can't wait to be a big sister - she talks all the time about everything she is going to teach him and show him.

Lily has become quite the fashionista and will only wear dresses these days. She absolutely refuses to wear any kind of pants. She also loves her matching hair bows and tights -she has amassed a huge collection of hair bows and tights and loves to pick out which ones she will wear each day. She also has a purse now - it's hot pink with quilted hearts and she carries her hot pink wallet, lip gloss, mirror and sunglasses in it. It is so funny!

In other news, our March has been jam packed with fun activities. Last weekend was busy: Lily went to her first movie, Dr. Suess' Horton Hears a Who. We stayed for the whole movie and Lily had a great time - she especially enjoyed the popcorn. Lily also went to visit the Easter bunny - she was really excited and got her picture taken with him. She picked out her own outfit - a Hanna Andersson dress - she has officially deemed that dress her "Easter bunny dress". On Sunday we shoe shopping for Lily and she picked out these tennis shoes. She loves them and wore them out of the store! We also went to Pump it Up for one of Lily's friends birthday parties - Lily had a blast and even climbed part way up their rock wall!

This upcoming weekend Lily has another birthday party to attend and we will be celebrating Easter with an egg hunt at our house. Stay tuned for some pictures of Lily at Pump it Up!
