And we begin 2007....

A new year is beginning and with it comes lots of excitement. We had a wonderful Christmas and New Year's in Michigan. We spent a quiet week relaxing at Nana and papa's house which Lily loved. She had tons of fun playing in the yard (thank goodness for the "warm" weather)and running up and down the stairs. She is still asking for nana and papa - if you ask her is she wants to go to Michigan she says "yes!" :) Lily received many wonderful gifts, so thank you to everyone - Lily is having a blast with all of her new toys and books.

Lily will be 2 years old in less than 2 months. Time has just flown by and she has grown into such an amazing little girl. She surprises us everyday with new words and it is great to be able to communicate so well with her. She is a little chatterbox and loves to strike up a conversation, especially if it is about cats, puppies or choo choos. Lily still loves her books and her library continues to grow. Right now her favorite books have to do with the moon which is one of her latest words.

We are certain that 2007 will be filled with excitement and fun. We have many things to look forward to, including, celebrating Lily and Daddy's birthdays in February, a trip to Hilton Head in April and Aunt Melissa's wedding in June. We will do our best to keep the blog updated with the most recent photos of our little fashionista!
