Is Fall on its way?

Could fall be just around the corner? The weather here in Chicago has turned cooler which is a welcome change after the heat and humidity of summer. It also means that the little fashionista gets to break out her fall wardrobe. Mommy has been hard at work filling Lily's closet and armoire with the latest in fall fashions. Lily has new shoes, new dresses, new sweaters, new cargo pants, new jeans, new hats....the list goes on and on! Not that Lily minds....she LOVES to try on her new outfits, check herself out in her full length mirror and model for daddy. Lily is 18 1/2 months now and each day brings something different. Lily's 18 month doctor appointment was a rough one to say the least but Lily is growing into such a big girl! She now weighs 23.5 lbs and is almost 33 inches tall. She is a chatterbox and she loves to dance and sing "Old McDonald Had a Farm". She just got the cutest little tea set and she loves to "make tea" for mommy, daddy, her baby and all of her stuffed animals.

We spent Labor Day weekend in Michigan and Lily had a blast running around Grandma and Grandpa's big back yard. Lily has discovered dirt much to mommy's dismay. She seems to take great joy in digging holes with her hands and tossing dirt everywhere, including her hair and cute outfits! Thank goodness for spray n'wash :) We did take pictures of our trip and promise to post some soon. Be sure to check back!
