Playing Catch Up.........

Wow! Time flies by when you are having fun! Lily has been very busy these past few weeks. She is quite the social butterfly these days and loves to interact with people. She is growing up so fast. She is starting to say a few words, her favorites are "ca, ca" (Cat), good girl, and da da. She babbles alot these days and is always trying to mimmick what people say. She is also getting close to walking. We are just waiting for her to take off one of these days. We can hardly believe that she will celebrate her first birthday in just a few days. Now, for a quick re-cap on Lily's last few weeks:

1. Daddy decided that Lily and mommy don't do enough shopping so the family took a trip to the Aurora Outlet Malls. It was fun and Lily picked up a few cute items, including a beautifull Birthday dress from Strasburg Children complete with coordinating socks.

2. Lily missed her grandparents so we loaded up the car and drove to Michigan for a long weekend to visit grandma and grandpa. Lily had such a good time playing around grandma and grandpa's big house and climbing all of the stairs. Lily's mommy also made a quick trip to Snapdragon boutique where she picked up Lily's Birthday hat and an adorable dress for her trip to Hilton Head in May. Lily's mommy also went to East End Pastry and ordered two very fancy pink cakes for Lily's Birthday celebration. Then Lily and her parents got to join her grandma and grandpa in celebrating their 42nd anniversary by going out to eat!

3. Then it was back to the city, where Lily had more exciting plans. She had a dinner date with Kevin, whose mommy and daddy used to live in the same building as we do. Lily is such a big girl, that she ordered her own meal at the restaurant! She also loved playing in Kevin's big playroom and she met her first dog, Jake, who she thought was great!

4. Next, Lily's Arizona grandparents came to town for a visit. Lily got to go to her great grandma's 80th birthday party where she met alot of nice people and got to bang on a real piano!

5. February 10 was Lily's daddy's birthday and everyone celebrated with a fun day. We went to Lily's Gymboree class (where daddy took a million great pictures), picked up daddy's birthday cake and did some birthday shopping for Lily! What a fun day!

6. This past Sunday, Lily went to her good friend Adam's first birthday party. She had the best time playing with Adam and all of his new toys :) Lily also enjoyed the good food at the party.

7. Lily and her mommy had a nice Valentine's Day, but they sure missed Daddy who was away on business. Lily loved all of the Valentine's and cute presents she received. She also (of course) was outfitted in the spirit of the holiday and made an adorable little Valentine. Mommy received a lovely Valentine's Day gift from Daddy and Lily : a Coach tote! The best part is it is big enough to carry lots of Lily's things :)

8. Now its time to get ready for Lily's 1st Birthday. Lily's mommy has a beautiful cake ordered and lots of other fun surprises for Lily on her big day. Stay tuned for lots of pictures!

Whew! That doesn't come close to detailing all that Lily has been up to, but it will have to do! For those of you anxiously awaiting Lily's debut on the Pampers website, we just received word that the launch date for the new site has been pushed back to early March. So everyone will have to wait a couple more weeks to see Lily modeling her Pampers Easy Ups. Stay tuned for lots of great pictures!
