Happy Halloween!
Happy Halloween to all! Lily has been so busy these past few weeks, there has been no time to post. Here is a brief recap of Lily's past few weeks:
October 13-16....Daddy jetted off to Vegas for a bachelor party, so Lily and her mommy traveled to Michigan to spend time with her Grandma and Grandpa...they had the best time. Lily went shopping, out to eat and on nice long walks with her grandma. She had such a good time. She of course hit up Snapdragon Boutique and got a new Zutano outfit complete with pink fleece mittens! Lily also got her very first pair of patent leather mary janes. She cannot wait to wear then over the holidays. She no doubt will be a fashionista throughout the fall and winter season.
October 20-22....Lily spent a nice weekend at home with her parents. She went out to Old Orchard for some shopping and lunch at California Pizza Kitchen. She got all dressed up in her Janie and Jack London Town outfit, complete with coordinating quilted jacket and clouche. Lily is such a big girl now, she loves to sit in a highchair at restaurants. While shopping at Old Orchard, Lily got her Christmas dress. She also got some white tights with a ruffle bottom to wear with her dress. Won't she be adorable all dressed up for her first Christmas?
This past weekend, Lily and her parents traveled to Michigan for a nice long weekend with Grandma and Grandpa. This time, Lily's Great Aunt Didi was visiting from California. Lily was so excited to meet her for the first time. It was a busy weekend for Lily and her parents. On Friday, Lily went shopping and out to lunch with the girls. She had lots of fun and her mommy bought her a cute Christmas t-shirt at Gymboree.
Her mommy, aunt and grandma all scored an adorable wool peacoat at Banana Republic, too bad they did not have one in Lily's size!
On Saturday,Lily's mommy hosted a baby shower for her friend Char and Lily met alot of nice people. The shower was very fun and everyone had a great time. Lily was quite the social butterfly and looked absolutely darling in her coordinating cardigan and beret from Janie and Jack's Sweet Confetti line. On Saturday night, Lily and her family had a bonfire in the backyard. Lily had to bundle up because it was chilly, but she still had a great time just hanging out.
On Sunday, Lily went to the apple orchard with her parents, grandma and Aunt Didi. She had the best time. She got to see apples, horses, and pumpkins. She also discovered that she loves to play with the pretty fall leaves.
All in all, it was a very fun and busy weekend. Lily also has a busy day today...she is going to go trick or treating this evening with her mommy and daddy. Happy Halloween.
Lily will be very busy in the upcoming months. She has lots planned with the holidays coming up. She will be traveling to Michigan for her first Thanksgiving. She even has a special bib to wear at Thanksgiving dinner. Isn't it cute? Over Thanksgiving weekend, Lily plans to do some Christmas shopping, have her picture taken with Santa and pick out and decorate her first Christmas tree! What fun she will have.
Stay tuned for more updates on Lily.....she has her 9 month check up next month, so we will be posting her latest stats!
