Happy Mother's Day!

We celebrated our First Mother's Day this past weekend with a trip to Michigan. A fun time was had by all! Lily spent Saturday shopping at Snapdragon boutique and Babies R Us. Lily scored some adorable summer outfits including a Zutano swing dress and sunhat and a Best of Chums "Milk and Cookie" ensemble. Lily also got a new toy this weekend, the Fisher Price Kick and Whirl Carnival. Lily loves it!

On Mother's Day, after much contemplation, Lily decided to wear a pale yellow vintage dress with matching lacy bloomers. She then joined her parents, grandparents and aunt for a delicious brunch at Charlie's Crab. After brunch, Lily watched her mom and grandma open their gifts. Lily's mom received a beautiful picture of Lily and an adorable "Mommy" tank top. Lily got her grandma a nice framed picture of Lily and her mommy. Everyone loved their presents. Lily spent the rest of the afternoon enjoying the great weather and hanging out on her grandparents patio.

Lily has many fun things planned for this week....she is going to a luncheon with her mom and her friend Adam and afterwards she is going to check out Beansprout boutique. Later this week her grandma and aunt are coming for a visit! Lily can't wait.
